There is an ever increasing demand for EFT relationship therapy as public awareness of the effectiveness of Emotionally Focused Therapy grows. It can be a struggle to find EFT therapists with availability for new clients so we need more therapists training to meet clients needs.

A four day immersion in the theory and practise of Emotionally Focused Therapy.
This four day course is the foundation of the training required towards becoming a Certified EFT therapist and is endorsed by the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT).
This 28 hour training in Emotionally Focused Therapy includes presentations of theory and clinical techniques, video clips of couple and individual EFT sessions, training exercises, group work, and live couple session.

Cost: from £700 Early Bird fee, some reduced fee places are available

Times: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day,
optional Home Group 8.30 – 9.00 a.m. days 2-4.

You are eligible to apply if
- You are a member of a recognised counselling / professional mental health organisation or a student on a substantial counselling/mental health course and
- You want to develop your understanding of Emotionally Focused Therapy, particularly in relation to working with couples.

The trainers:
Sandra Taylor, PhD
Sandra Taylor, PhD, is an EFT Trainer, Supervisor and Therapist based in Lancashire, England. She works in private practice online and her client work is predominantly with LGBTQ+ people, see: www.potential-development.co.uk
She trains therapists in Emotionally Focused Therapy in Britain with co-trainer Helene Igwebuike. She is supporting the development of the Polish EFT Community as well as being co-trainer on the first LGBTQ+ focused EFT Externship, London 2022.
Some of Sandra’s intersecting identities are that she is a lesbian cis-gender white female, disabled and Catholic.
Sandra is a member of ICEEFT – International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy and is an accredited member of BACP – the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. She previously worked as Director of Relationship Counselling in a national charity, and was a Senior Lecturer providing counsellor training at the University of Cumbria after more than 10 years as an Occupational Therapist in a range of mental health settings.
Sandra is a warm, knowledgeable and engaged trainer with a passion for helping people learn EFT.
Helene Igwebuike, MA
Helene Igwebuike, M.A., is a certified Emotionally Focused Couple Therapist, Supervisor and Trainer. Helene is Joint Centre Head of the British EFT Centre supporting the growth of the British EFT community. Helene loves spreading her love of EFT by training therapists in the model in the UK and abroad.
Helene completed her MA research at Bath Spa University on the seeding attachment intervention and runs engaging workshops on seeding attachment to grow attachment security with couples.
Helene is passionately committed to helping couples and individuals heal and transform the relationship with themselves and loved ones. Helene has a wonderfully diverse cosmopolitan practice based in London and online and runs Hold Me Tight relationship enhancement workshops for couples.
Helene is a member of ICEEFT – International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy and is a registered member of BACP – the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
